This highly-concentrated Chemical Blend will keep its treatment in effect, even when the parts it is shielding are glowing hot – and subjected to abnormal pressures of friction. That’s why it is identified as a Heavy-Duty Formula!
System “48-PLUS”!
It will not be affected by sub-freezing temperatures, nor evaporate or melt when subjected to extreme heat. It will not corrode nor harm metals. It is insoluble in water – resists chemicals, gases and “remains”…while providing a shielding protection against friction!
Application!
For standard 4,6 or 8 cylinder engines and light truck vehicles which have an oil capacity of up to four quarts (not including 1 quart for the filter) – full treatment is recommended by the introduction of one 8-ounce container of System “48-PLUS”!
For other larger or smaller engines with larger or smaller oil capabilities , the correct application in most instances is two ounces of System “48-PLUS” per each quart of oil capacity…excluding the oil filter!
Conditions of Application
System “48-PLUS” is for use in gas-powered or diesel-powered internal combustion engines – which include automobile, marine, farm equipment and industrial engines.
It can safely and effectively be used in 4-cycle motocycle engines – but is not recommended or intended for use in smaller 2-cycle engines or rotary engines.
Method of Application
Since heat is a most important element for enabling System “48-PLUS” to adhere and last within the engine walls – the most important aspect of obtaining full benefit from this formulation – is that your vehicle be fully warmed-up prior to application!
We recommend that you consider effecting application after you returned from a 5mile or longer trip before adding System “48-PLUS” TO YOUR ENGINE. That way, you can be sure that the engine is completely warm. Natura;;y, a look at the thermostat gauge on your dashboard (if you have one) – will tell you when the temperature is correct. If you wish, you may just leave the vehicle idle long enough – until it is fully warm.
First shake the container well. This will allow all the enclosed chemicals to fully blend. The more you shake – the better it will be.
With the engine idling and fully warm – remove the oil filter cap- and simply add the entire 8-ounces of System “48-PLUS” to your oil! Pour it in slowly and steadily – and make sure you add the entire contents of the container.
DO NOT TURN OFF YOUR ENGINE! All you need to do now, is simply allow the vehicle to run for an additional 25 to 30 minutes…either by idling or driving. This post-treatment heating procedure will not only circulate the formulation – but also generate enough heat for the adherent action to be effective!
Additional Applications!
DIFFERENTIAL:
Add 2-ounces of System “48-PLUS” per each quart of differential Oil Capacity. When vehicle is at warm temperature - pour required amount directly into the Differential Filler Hole – and continue to either drive or idle vehicle for 20 minutes immediately after application.
The benefits of this treatment, will enable Differential to operate at a quieter and smoother pace!
MANUAL TRANSMISSION:
With engine warm and idling – add 2-ounces of System “48-PLUS” per each quart of Manual Transmission oil capacity. Pour the required amount directly into the transmission filler hole – and continue to either drive or idle vehicle for 20 minutes after application.
With System “48- PLUS” added to a Manual Transmission – the results should prove to be a smoother and quieter operation
DO NOT ADD SYSTEM “48-PLUS” TO AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSIONS!!
FORK LIFTS:
Add one 8-ounce container of System “48-PLUS” to Fork Lift engine. This will provide “extra” lubrication for lift power – which can mean longer-lasting and smoother Fork performance!
Spray or Immersion Applications!
BALL AND ROLLER BEARINGS:
When these components are fixed-into machinery – simply spray the Ball and Roller Bearings with a few drops of System “48-PLUS” so that treatment covers the metal of their exposed surfaces!
For loose or unenclosed Ball and Roller Bearings – simply immerse in solution of Formula and allow to dry, so that film imparts “super-slippery” protection!
ENGINE ASSEMBLY:
During reassembly of an engine – immerse or spray all engine and manual transmission components with System “48-PLUS”!
CHAINS:
Simply spray pr pour System “48-PLUS” directly onto the chain. As the liquid carriers evaporate – they will leave and excellent film of Dry Lubricants which will repel dirt, foreign properties and undesirable particles.
CABLES:
Immerse the cable or pour System “48-PLUS” into the cable housing. When the carriers evaporate – they will impart a dry shield of Lubrication Film that should outlast the entire life of the cables!
Technical Checkpoints!
Record ratings of pre-treatment and after-treatment with System “48-PLUS” by using a Dynamometer.
Check R.P.M.’s on Tachometer or Dwell Meter before and after treatment with System “48-Pluess”. Readings should show meaningful increase when such comparison is studied!
Record prior and current gas mileage figures. Make sure tank is filled at exact same pump (to account for slope of pavement or other variables) and is filled to similar capacity for true before-and-after readings.
While making this gas mileage test, try to duplicate driving conditions, weather conditions, traffic conditions and miles traveled to and from comparable locations – so that some sort of accuracy can be achieved.
The results should provide ample evidence of the fact that the addition of System “48-PLUS” to an engine – most certainly does produce greater fuel economy!
Visual Checkpoints!
Within 200 miles of driving after treatment with System “48-PLUS” – engine should sound better, idle smoother and be endowed with more power. There should be a gain of extra horsepower and compression. Vehicle should be able to climb hills faster and easier – operate freer under heavy “load” – while also capable of producing greater “pull-out” speed when passing other vehicles on the highway.
For cold weather starts – the engine should turn over faster – even in frigid temperatures that dip well below freezing. This, in turn, could mean a longer life expectancy for the battery!
Residual Benefits!
With the suppression of metal-to-metal contacts, the motorist should expect to experience less untimely engine breakdowns on the road – because parts will wear longer once the stresses of friction are eased into submission!
Longer life for parts, mean longer life for the engine – and an anticipation of greater dependability from an engine that can operate more liberated, once it is relieved of pressures that place so much strain on its performance capabilities!
Additionally, System “48-PLUS” can provide engine “life saving” advantages if ever the present oil should fail or leak out!
It can endow emergency lubricating protection for a period of time past normal duration, so the engine can continue to operate safely and properly – even though it has not instantly received the crucial benefits of the oil it needs so desperately!
Additional Information!
The color of the formulation in System “48-PLUS” is black! Since the active ingredients’ natural color must be distributed throughout the chemical properties, you need no longer judge when an oil change is necessary, simply by looking at the color of the oil. This method is now passe!
A time for oil changes should be determined by mileage, experience, oil analysis – and especially by equipment manufactures’ recommendation!
When adding System “48-PLUS” to the crankcase – there is no need to drain off any of the present oil in order to avoid “over-fill”…as the high concentration of this formula allows for full treatment to safe capacity…without extraction of any oil!
And System “48-PLUS” can be used in conjunction with all oils…including synthetic ones! It is compatible, and gives the same benefits and safety for your engine – no matter what type of oil is being used by the by the motorist.
